Our Team
KY K9 training center is where we train and promote our passion for the sport of IGP. We work with all working breeds in the sport but you will see us mostly train and compete with German Shepherds and Dobermanns.

Kelly Ward
Kelly grew up with the working dogs, her father was a MA State Police K9 handler. German Shepherds quickly became her passion and has expanded to the working Dobermann. Kelly understands the complexity and dedication it takes to train in IGP. The handler/dog relationship is a favorite to coach.
Development
Kelly has a passion for raising and developing a sport dog. It begins with development, shaping, and behaviors. If you need help with starting out in the sport or starting a puppy...reach out!

Gerald
Gerald Trayner
Gerald has over 40 years of dog training experience. He began his IGP career with a Giant Schnauzer and loves to work with all working breeds today. Gerald's passion around IGP is contagious. Gerald is the Training Director for our IGP club as well as protection helper.
If you are looking for help with IGP tracking...reach out! Gerald is legendary when it comes to tracking. Gerald's tracking knowledge can teach a beginner as well as prepare a dog/handler team for a Championship.
